A former game designer/writer who, with co-founder Lewis Peterson, established the game developer 7 Studios, Margaret has worked on hit franchises like Call of Duty and partnered with Halo developer Bungie to evolve the Destiny Universe, and consulted with Bungie, Activision, EA and others on incubating new intellectual properties. Margaret is also widely known for her successful career as a novelist, and writer with Marvel.

Margaret has published more than fifteen novels and graphic novels in fifty countries and thirty-two languages, and has sold more than fifteen million books worldwide.
Margaret regularly collaborates with Marvel, where she has contributed to the canonical universes of Black Widow, Captian Marvel, Spider Man and more. She known for her bestselling Black Widow YA novels and her work on Captain Marvel, and the series Life of Captain Marvel, where she established a new origin story for Carol Danvers ahead of the theatrical debut of Brie Larson as Captain Marvel for the MCU. Margaret is currently writing the Spider-Man miniseries, Spider-Man Noir: Twilight in Babylon, as well as other unannounced Marvel projects.

At 7 Studios, Lewis oversaw over a dozen games on every major game system, including multiple million-unit sellers, accounting for sales over $150 million, with Activision-Blizzard, Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, and others. 7 Studios partnered with Bruckheimer Films, Twentieth Century Fox, Marvel, Disney, DreamWorks and HBO on some of the
biggest brands in entertainment, including Pirates of the Caribbean, Shrek, The Sopranos and Fantastic
Four.
Lewis successfully negotiated the acquisition of 7 Studios by Activision-Blizzard in 2009, to help grow the
Guitar Hero brand. Post-Activision, Lewis has negotiated multiple publishing and licensing agreements, engaged in creative consulting, and co-authored two novels, leading up to founding The Foundational IP
Group.
